Best Bakery
Sarasota Magazine
Multiple years. Recognized for laminated pastry, sourdough, and seasonal tarts.
Mademoiselle Paris began with a simple conviction: that the most honest expression of French cuisine is not elaborate, but precise. Good bread. Butter with character. Time given to stocks, sauces, and pastry dough. Every element on the plate earning its place.
The bakery came first. Long mornings, real lamination, croissants that required three days to make correctly. Locals noticed. Word spread the way it does when something is genuinely worth talking about.
The restaurant followed naturally. A bistro menu built on classical technique without the formality that so often gets in the way of actually enjoying a meal. Moules frites on a Tuesday. A proper duck confit. Wine by the glass that deserves the glass it comes in.
Today we have four locations across Florida's Gulf Coast, including Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, and Gulfport. The kitchens are different sizes. The ambiance shifts from neighborhood to neighborhood. What does not change is the standard we hold for every croissant, every sauce reduction, every plate that leaves the pass.
Fifteen awards from readers and critics across the region validate what we see every day at the counter: people who came once and made it a habit.
We believe a great meal is one of the most generous things
one person can offer another. We take that seriously.
